When the subject of cancer comes up in almost any setting, you will discover that many people really won't know what to say, or how to feel. Cancer is such a common disease that 7 in 10 people know or love someone that has been diagnosed with this condition.

- Persistent coughing or in some cases coughing up blood,
- Bowel movements that are constantly inconsistent,
- Painful urination or bladder swelling,
- A constant sore throat that never gets better,
- A mole, wart, or skin discoloration that you can't explain,
- An abnormal lump in the testicles or breast area that is unusual,
- Pain or irritation in the prostate area.
These are only some of the symptoms that a person will notice that could be early signs of cancer. Now, the information in this article isn't meant to scare you; however, this is the whole reason this subject needs to be talked about in a better light. People really need to know that this condition is real and if you have been dealing with any of these symptoms, it's time to get checked.
Once you've been checked, and the tests have come back positive, your physician will tell you about several types of cures/treatments that are available for certain types of cancer. Some of those treatments are Chemotherapy, Radiation Therapy, and surgery depending on how bad and where the cancer is located.
